Follow the link and complete the self sufficiency calculator.  Write the information below in your blog-post titled "Budget & Income" on your webpage.
1. How much money will you need to earn to live your expected life?
2. Add 20% more to the total
3. How much money will you need to live your dream life?
4. Complete the AVID "Importance of going to college" worksheet & turn it in to the drawer

NEXT:

1. Go to Checkoutacollege.com
2. Click on Explore Careers then "Career Interest Survey"
3. Choose 3 careers you want to investigate further
4. Continue researching information
5. Write a new blog post titled "Career Exploration"
6. Make sure it identifies the average salary for the career, what levels of education are required, is the job trending to be needed in the future? Write why you are interested in these jobs
NEXT:

1. Using your "Check out a College" brochure and website identify 3 schools you may be interested in
2. Complete the college exploration packet
3. Are these schools still ones you want to apply to?
4. Create a new blog post titled "College Exploration"
5. Write about the three colleges you want to apply to and why. List the pros and cons of each list the acceptance and graduation rate of each

LAST:
1. Go to Washboard.org
2. 
Create an account & build a profile
3. Record your log-in and password to reuse this through high school
4. Create a blog post titled "Scholarships & Grants"
5. Describe the difference between scholarships & grants, describe how Washboard.org is helpful
