SESAME STREET SCIENCE

Ultimate Lab Safety Video

PLANNERS

We use it everyday all year. You are expected to write a goal in the "Note" section. Goals CANNOT say "Get good grades" since we already expect you to do your best. Instead set goals to build habits of learners. Examples include: Always have a pencil, get to bed early, eat all my meals, or raise my hand to ask questions.

BINDERS

Students are expected to have a binder with 6 dividers. One for each period. When students put new papers into their binder they should always put the most recent paper on top so the oldest paper is in the back of the stack. If students need help creating an organization system that works for them, we will schedule an afterschool support day to guide them.

LAB NOTEBOOK

The Lab Notebooks are identical for every student. This ends up becoming the student's textbook as we all build them together. Loose papers not glued or taped into the notebook will not count for the grade.
Students are expected to have ALL notebooks and materials in every class.
